from fear into love.

all songs i think i have written

now that i have listened to them
are like this
regardless of
the lyric

they are either a love song

reminds me more of stevie nicks and mazzy star and barefoot nights on the porch down in the country when i could hear someone lonely soul strumming and howling and begging for hallelujahs to the moon...gives me that nostalgia the song "wild horses" always brings... haunting and beautiful... shivers and tears.... you both have a divine talent. i am just in awe. thank you.

thankyou. you are lovely for saying that seeing or hearing that kind of hope in this after so many years
like
"this joy was dark before it was born"

..
it is a ragged foot thankfulness is this strange country

i should say it is
POSSIBLE that in the beginning stages pre SIOUXSEE SIOUX and the BANSHEES SID V whose real name i cannot recall was POSSIBLY a drummer for a band which they had. it might have been the banshees i dont know. these are things i recall as a teenager or maybe i recall this from being in manhattan in 1989? i do not know i could be wrong. this is before i ever heard of LOLLYPO LOOZA. this is what i recall knowing it from "the street"
..
if i am wrong "i am sorry". i am not like some person who knows a lot of stuff nor do i claim to be. this, to me, was common knowledge and now i have seen it in a smathering of places many many years later. so i just assume "OH i THOUGHT i had already known that" +scratching my head+ but suddenly i am having a sick feeling which has occurred before which has happened for real when i have said real facts which have been proven to be true later- that someone is going to come along and say via private mail or drop a comment- something to the effect of "ARE YOU DRUNK THREDD" and then not say who they are. i was going to remove this comment. now i am not.
..
this is a response to a lot of "bullying" "for no good reason" which has occurred in my life specifically when i was making very "precise non emotional comments about music on y o u t u b e during a certain time and i was basically getting all kinds of amazing responses which were absolutey ridiculous malicious almost threatening such as "i know where you live" and my husband was being s t a l k e d at the very same time at the very end of this "period" so i basically got off of most social networking platforms. hence all my "shadow boxing"

in the midst of
real things happening which are
very difficult

Im not knowing who Indigo Girls are? But if they are this kickin', I best find out :)
Really smooth tones and rooted feel.

I'm not a big fan of "folky" or "acoustic" stuff, more of a metal girl myself, but I really appreciate this soft stuff. And I like your words. They choke me.

i would not say the indigo girls are anything like this
like at all
maybe my voice sort of "kind of" its raspy is sort of?
i would imagine uh
ness is "referencing a feeling"
this is "my take" tho?
they were definitely uh
acoustic and a duo.

i have a lower voice so.

and raspy.
so as soon as i sing or
"back then when people were in the habit of explaining me which is what happens in the industry"

OH MY GOD

with an acoustic guitar
i get these 3 references

indigo g
melissa e
and

then if i do some things

janis

and i did not write music which was anything like any of them.

at all.

it was very difficult.
on a bad day i would say i sounded like
ETHEL MERMAN TAKEING DOWN A PI RATe SHIP
in a storm i just dont know
h ah ah ah ha ha

and i was referring to an actress who sang
and was in a very very funny movie called
"airplane"

which i saw at the drive in
when i was like i dont know
the year it came out
i saw it with my folks
and we laghed so hard together the
car BOUNCED.

and i remeber this it is one of the GREATES MEMORIES
i HAVE TO THIS DAY

besides my honeymoon!
ha ha and like meeting lee allthis.

back to janis jopln..
who honestly could sing a high c note
i cannot do that at all.

never could
so i was not like all these singers mentioned.

i love a lot of metal too
the closest hardest stuff we have done

is mostly
uhhhhhhhh

i dont know if you will know reference
white pony record uh who are they brain is
blanking
deftones hard and me learning how to semi scream
without "hurting peoples ears"

and still playing decent melody on guitar
and then trying so hard to
freak on the guitar
i am not good at scales
but i can do "some things"
i dont know i have "my own thing"

however by the time i had gotten "there"
lee had a stroke.

i have some of that on recording
but
most of those jams are really long
i recorded all of my practices since a certain date
..
i have like a lot of different kind of music.

acoustic is easiest to record
drums really hard
we like things oldschool
FATT loud
CLOSE
sounds close and yet
coming from far away

comsic
and folky i like
or if rock
not uh

oh i dont want to offend anyone

i could have done without the 80's
but there is a lot of music i am like
WOW that was
better than i thought

the 80s for me

was talking heads
laurie anderson
some no wave
SOME

SOME metallica

some bands i wil not mention here
because i now know some things i do not
uh

hard to explain
..
i loved soiuxe soiux
her drummer was "sid vicious"

i loved
uh

there was a band made up of wild mix of folks
wild colonials

and like noone i know had ever heard them

but they are huge
the people in this band

i had to stop with some hard stuff
metallica to me is not hard
they are heavy metal
and so is WHY I DRAW BLANK AGAIN
you know uh
ozzehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
ha ha ha ha ha ha
even tho i have even here in tx seen

d-th metal in
places that you just dont advertise
and its so amazing one wonders
'how are they dong this?"

and
then one wonders
"how maybe will one get out of here?"
moving along :)

but i did not
once i saw the video and had read a book
which went with
ONE back "then"

i could no longer appreciate the value of even that great song

which to me
was absolutely perfect

but that looked like a"nitemare"

that i was already in
so to speak

and this song along with all songs i have written
has always been to address that very "nitemare"
..

i wonder if any of that made sense
i am trying to avoid making some kinds of music

like i could for
"schtick"

and it would sell.
but i would not
"be happy"
..
that to me would be like
uh
"whorring myself"
..
r.

now this.............
strangely beuatifully, recalls the indigo girls for me...and how, way back in the day, i would roll down the windows, crank up their harmonies and acoustics, and SING all the pain out......for hrs......
wicked talent you have.
brings me to tears, truly.
