Many layers here, many levels, all moving together through dimensions requiring elevated process, echoing on and on at escape velocity. Many meanings combined into one image. This work is personal enough that true understanding of it is yours alone, yet it gives enough to others to be appreciated without knowing what you know, like speaking a dead language in the open for everyone to hear, sonorous enough that all are drawn by its allure.
My humble words don't do this proper justice. Truly amazing work. A lot of details to soak in here. I like those 'garden of the gods' myths...I'm a gardener myself & I happen to find such themes very inspiring.
Again...truly amazing art. Please don't deprive us of your work....we wanna see more!
Thanks for sharing your talents, Dan. I would gladly hang this one on my wall.
an image combining various traditions: Sumero-Akkadian, Jewish. Based on the stories of Genesis 2-3, "Enki and Ninhursag" and various translations of the "Sumerian Epic of Paradise" and other 'garden of the gods' myths.
